Tonya Rosenberg - Founder - The Online PPD Support Group
How can I tell if what I am dealing with is PPD is just depression?
I was diagnosed with type 2 bi-polar about 10 years ago but have been off meds since I got pregnant with my 1st son about 3.5 years ago, I did just fine during my first pregnancy and after but with this second baby it's hard, he's 4 months old now.
I feel like I'm in a fog all the time, I can't focus, I can't listen, I'm irritable all the time, exhausted.
It's more the 2 year old that i struggle with but now that the 4 month old has discovered his voice it's even harder.
He's a fussy baby, not a good napper, and I don't know what to do.
It comes and goes in waves, I find myself going manic just to make it through the days.
I don't know where to start looking for help, do I go see my midwife or my normal dr? I have no idea how we are going to pay for it which just adds to my stress.
